Period Promise Campaign
In BC, 26% of people who menstruate have experienced periods without access to necessary products.
We proudly participated in the @unitedway_bc Period Promise Campaign, improving access to free menstrual products in our community. Thank you for donating at our pharmacy; we matched your contributions from the campaign's start until mid-June.
Loaves and Fishes Food Bank
Our daughter Cheyne created and sold chocolates to support our local Loaves and Fishes Food Bank. She proudly raised $275.50 from her chocolate fundraiser, which Pinnacle Pharmacy matched. During her visit, she was given a tour of the food bank and was excited to discover how much food her contribution could provide to those in need!
Night Owl Baseball Sponsorship
Pinnacle Pharmacy is thrilled to announce its sponsorship of the Nanaimo Night Owls baseball team. Our staff and their families try to attend Night Owl games as often as possible, and we're all about supporting local sports and fostering community spirit. Go Night Owls!
The Pinnacle Plus+ Program
Our in-home, nurse-assisted program, Pinnacle Plus+, has been helping Nanaimo residents live more independently since 2023. Through this program we are able to provide a multitude of unique and personalized in-home medical services, specifically created for the individual we are caring for.
The Pinnacle Plus+ program improves the quality of life for the patient, no doubt. But it also helps family members and other caregivers share the load, leaving more time for the things that matter most.
